Self Portraits are a subject I seem to revisit every year.  It usually comes around when I hit some sort of perceived wall in my art production.  I find painting and drawing self portraits to be very good practice.  It can be an excellent exercise in using color, scale, and perspective.  And perhaps most importantly, it is a very good documentation of the evolution and progression of my artistic techniques and ability.  Via a far less involved but equally important method, the camera produces a truly photographic documentation of the present. 


Tonight I took some photographic Self Portraits.  The following three shots were my favorites.
