December 8, 2005 I am pleased to announce the arrival of several new limited editions of giclée prints. These prints are available for pickup or delivery immediately. For those not familiar with the giclée printmaking process, the following information will help familiarize you with these prints. Giclée (from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, to spray", pronounced 'Zhee-clay', though 'Jee-clay' is often used) - is the use of the ink-jet process for making fine art prints (first done in the early 1990's. The term "giclée" is frequently used to describe any high-resolution, large-format ink jet printer output with fade-resistant dye or pigment based inks. These particular prints are made with an Epson 9600 using UltraChrome inks. The Epson 9600 has received deserved praise for the brilliant pigments in the UltraChrome inks. With its wide color and shadow range, high saturation, increased sharpness and the fade resistant inkset, this printer is rapidly becoming the standard in giclée printing throughout the world. The following giclée prints are currently available in a Signed & Numbered limited edition of 50. The prints are on 16 x 24" heavy duty archival paper, with a 10 x 20" printed area.
Broadway & Columbus The limited edition prints are priced at $100 per print. When the edition is sold out, I will remove it from this website.
Additionally, smaller
giclée prints are available at a paper size of
9 x 12" with a printed area of 4.5 x 9.5". These prints are signed &
titled, priced at $40 per print.
